Rant And Rave About New Zealand Sport is the brainchild of Puppet, a sixteen year old student from Wellington, New Zealand. Puppet first attended a rugby game at the age of eight, the Hurricanes versus the Highlanders. She has two recollections of this game, 1, getting her face painted yellow and black and 2, walking out of Athletic Park and looking at the scoreboard, which was definately in favour of the Hurricanes. She was hooked. Since then she has joined the large amount of New Zealanders in worshipping the god of rugby. Puppet unconsiously adopted Christian Cullen as her favourite player (she has no idea why, he just always has been) and so he has reamined till this very day.
Puppet plays rugby for her school, At lock, and lock only, because she is too slow to play any other position. She is also lucky to play in the same team as the future greatest winger of all time.

Puppets unhealthy obsession with cricket started at nine, when she and a group of small children were set to singing the national anthems at a oneday game between Australia and New Zealand. While meeting some of the players before the game Puppet was quite taken by Adam Parore, and kept watching the game to see how he was. This obsession with Parore developed into one with the entire team. (To anyone who was wondering yes, we were the group of girls singing "who ate the pies, who ate the pies, he did, he did, he ate the pies!" in the direction of Shane Warne.)
Puppet's bowling is best described as "dangerous, especially to slips and square leg umpires" to combat this she dons pads and gloves, then sits behind wickets trying to think of another way to say "good bowling". she opens batting with an unco-looking, extremely efective, defensive style.

This site was prodded into existence in mid-Febuary 2003 and is not retrospective. Most of what is on here is not Puppets own work, she just makes fun of it. The lack of photos is due to the absence of a scanner, and opinionated things require an opinion, something usually laking. Any tips, tricks, or weird shit that you think couldwork on this site would be most welcome.
Send them to Puppet, or stick your suggestions in the guestbook.
