On Power and Spirituality

"The greater light to rule the day, the lesser light to rule the
night": this verse speaks of the sun and the moon. The sun is
symbolic of Christ, and the moon of the Law and prophets. The Law
has light, however that light is not its' own, but comes from Christ.
Moses spoke with Christ and his face was light up afterwards.

Today we, as Christians are nothing by ourselves, but like the moon,
we have light as Christ gives us light. Our individuality and personalities
in Christ might be represented by how much light we reflect from Christ,
and as on different days, the moon reflects more or less light, so too
is our reflection of the light a wavering thing, some days more, other days
less.

Now, another example to help understand spirituality: the wind, what a better
metaphor? We have the Light given to us, as a wind of Light, the more we have,
the brighter that light reflected from us. And, consequently, the more power and
authority we have in Christ. For that is as the wind, if there is no wind, then
the is no power, if there is some, then there is some power. If there is much power, then trees fall, houses are blown apart, and all pretensions to knowledge set up as strongholds collapse and are blown away.

Since we are still, and not moving as this force, and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of
Christ, of God; this is the force of the person of God, indeed the force of personality. Moving as wind? Or inanimate as the wind? Surely not! Rather living, for there is no difference between spirit and soul.

So, seek more of God, and have the power and the Light to
accomplish that which God has set in your heart to accomplish.
Power is a state of being, just as you might imagine standing within great
wind and great light, so too do these things stand within: and you will
know, nothing can stand in your way, for it is not your will nor you way,
but you are merely a witness of the might of the Almighty Everlasting One.

Part Two

If spirituality might be understood by using a metaphor of wind, as it
can be, as the Greek and Hebrew words for "spirit" are synomonous with
"wind"; and, Jesus explained those moved by the spirit as with wind:
then one can also understand power and authority as a force.

Now, do not get me wrong, I am well aware of some fools who take this
word "force" and apply it to the Spirit, saying the Spirit is not God.
They are fools who seem to intentionally misunderstand.

No, but I have heard it said that authority and power is denoted often
in Scripture by a word, I think, "Dyanamos".

My point here is that these things can be understood, often by using
metaphor, and that in understanding, we have believing, in believing,
actuality.

The prophets had a certain amount of force, the Apostles more so, and
Jesus the greatest. Next to Jesus we will have the two witnesses, on
His left and right hand sides. So, you can expect them to come with
considerable power.

Now, wind can be light or strong. Some wind can blow down trees. Other
winds can uproot trees and mountains. Force may be invisible, however
force is seen by what it moves.

God is a God of Glory and Power, that glory and power is revealed to
His servants, and to the degree that they may see and reflect that, is
the degree of power and glory that is reflected by them.

We are talking an extreme world changing event here, which will have
room for people to get involved in.

Look at the moon and the planets, they have no light of themselves,
but they reflect the light from the source of the sun. The moon, in
fact, "rules the night", while the sun "rules the day". Much can be
understood about these metaphors God has put into creation, but here
let me point out that our reflection now is not contant, just as the
moon has phases.

Nor, should we expect perfection though we must go towards perfection,
for God is perfection. When these "jars of clay" are changed into an
eternal substance, then all will be made complete.

Regardless, we must strive for zero. We must make ourselves less, and
Christ more. The less that we are within ourselves, the more that
Christ is within ourselves. And the more force and power we will know
and exhibit.

There are many different types of stars, just as each of us are
individuals: we do not lose ourselves by laying down our lives, but we
gain our lives. Yet, we are united by the fact that we all are of the
one true source of Light, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Two very great lights will come, though they are not the Light,
themselves, they bear witness of the Light. Two very great winds will
come, though there is one Spirit. Such power will be revealed,
therefore such power already exists, but is not behind anything so
that it might be seen by its' effects. In other words, the wind may
blow, but who would know, until that wind is blowing against something
seen.

Therefore, the plagues and the terrible things that will be wrought
apon the world. And, the great things. Regardless, the wind may be
ridden by anyone, just as the Light might be made plain for all to see.
