Are Pre Tribulationists are escapists?

If we Pre Tribulationists are escapists, then so were Noah and Lot. According to the PostTrib mentality, they should have begged God to "suffer" with the others. Noah should of said, "Why should I escape your wrath Lord? I need to suffer more." Being a good servant of God, Lot should of stayed behind with his family and refused to leave the city saying, "God will protect us through the fire and judgement. All the houses will burn except ours. Our duty is to suffer with all the rest of the sinners so that we can be refined like gold."

Sound silly? Well this is how the Post Tibulationists think. They believe that whey will go through the 7 year tribulation because mankind has not suffered enough. God must make sure they all Christians suffer as never before. Then there are the factions that believe God will somehow protect them from it all. Then what is the point of going through it in the first place. Other Post Tribbers believe that all the Christians will die early in the Tribulation in order to be spared the torture. Did Lot or Noah die? Did Noah die?

Many of them believe that like Israel during the Exodus, they will be protected and spared. After all Israel went through their tribulation. Did they? My Bible says that they were first taken out of Egypt then crossed through the sea that opened up before them, and again they were taken out. They walked out of the sea on to dry land while all the other Egyptian armies were drowned and crushed to death by the cascading waters. Was Israel instructed to stay in the water so that it could crash down on them too? Were they promised that they would be "protected" underwater. No. They were taken out.

Now let's again look at Noah and Lot. Was Noah given the ability to stay under water to watch all the people of the earth suffer? No. He was taken out! Did Lot stay behind and watch all the people burn to death while his house remained untouched? No. He was taken out!

Here is something to think about. The Bible says; "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."1 Cor 10:13-14 (KJV)

Now hear the promise Jesus has made to His Church:

"Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth." Rev 3:10 (KJV)

If Jesus is going to provided a way of escape, it would be near blasphemy to fight against it and call all others escapists. For seven years while God rains down His judgements and wrath, we will be in heaven receiving our rewards. Yes we will be taken out!
