This is what is called the Causeway... right downtown located in the inner
harbour.
Just above and to the right it is the Empress hotel and directly behind this view point are the Parliment buildings.
Directly to the left is the inner harbour. (considered to be the most expensive place to
dock a boat in BC.)
There are always street performers down here.. great place... down at the
end of that walk is one of my favorite
restaurants... Milestones. If you ever get the chance.. check it out.
Here's the Empress Hotel. See the causeway? (it's below that
wall you see there)
Here's the inner harbour at night... that's the parliment buildings
in the background completely lit up.
It's really a very stunning sight to see at night. Over a million light bulbs placed on it.
The little building to the right with the pillars is the Royal London Wax Museum.

Well from the few pictures I have here.. I hope you can tell how beautiful a city it truly is.
The main industry here is tourism... so it's kept looking great all year round.
Victoria is also known as "little England", with double decker buses everywhere.
As well as some great fish & chip restaurants too.
It's definetly worth a visit one time. *smile*
