Disgruntle Dave's Friends

I met Dana in the Yahoo! chat rooms at pretty much the same time as Josh...actually Dana introduced me to Josh. They weren't dating at the time but they are now. Dana always tells me how much she loves Josh and so I copy what she says and send it to Josh and he just grins a big grin. Dana has a fish named Wasabe and her favorite animal is the Ostrich. And, now she also has a mouse named Matilda! See, I have strange friends, but that's why they're so cool.

Danielle M, or Danni as she is often called, is another one of my chat friends. She lives in the homestate of Texas. I've known her for four years now. We've spoken on the phone together, though I haven't met her in person. We have all kinds of conversations and I sometimes talk with her boyfriend online. Danni has been a good friend through tough times, always ready to listen and find something to humor me.

I've known Dee for about two and a half or three years. We met online, with the common interest that we both like the band Korn. Dee lives in Colorado with her homies, of whom some I talk to online. I used to call her pager and leave messages for her that would be sponsored by some product. For example I might say "This message was sponsored in part by Sonic. America's Drive-In." In July of 2001, my dad and I took a trip to Colorado and Dee and I got to meet each other face to face. She also brought along her ex-boyfriend(standing behind her in the pic). Dee and I talk about anything and everything. Not only does Dee love Korn, but also frogs and Scooby Doo. She is one of my closest female friends and my homie g favorite long distance neighbor. If such a thing didn't exist, we created it LOL.

I met Hollie through another chat friend. I've known Hollie for close to three years. Hollie lives in Arkansas and it was evident the time or two we talked on the phone. :) Hollie is constantly reminding me to be positive...which is often much needed some times. She is always enthusiastic to talk to me online.

I met Josh in the Yahoo! chat rooms. We both love military aircraft, and Josh used to work on the B-52H Stratofortress. He currently lives in the middle of Kansas. Yes people do live there... Josh is dating Dana. They're such a cute couple. Josh and I found a strange obsession with gummy bears...and prairie dogs...and we started a band called the Outdoor Monkeys! We haven't scheduled a tour yet...

So my chat friend Katrina is going into the Air Force. She's been flying since she was pretty young and has a few records or two. I'm jealous because I've never flown even in a jet liner and she's been able to pilot a MiG-29 before. But she's cool. She always answers any weird questions I have about any weird topics, espically when I get confused about women. Or anything to do with women. Or even..well..you get the point. She's cool!

I met Laura H in the Yahoo! chat rooms and instantly knew she was cool. We're both left handed, so that gave us a common tie. Then she started commenting that she had seen a B-2 at an airshow, or was pretty sure it was so that was even more cool. She likes NASCAR and IRL. So she's influenced my viewing preferances in that area. Plus I started rooting for Purdue in college football for some reason too. How strange. Go Boilers!

I know another Laura H, who is from Texas. She's cool, cuz I met her about the same time I met Josh and Dana. Ya know when things get complicated, I just try to find Laura, cuz she's usually got somethin complex to say that will get me either so deep in contemplation or so completely confused that I forget everything.

Sam is my chat friend from Pennsylvania, she's about as crazy as I am. We keep in moderate contact, conversing about various topics and making sure the other hasn't found their sanity. She's mighty valuable as a friend, because whenever I need someone to help clear my head, she's around.
