Alan Smith has been a member of Queensland Diving for 14 years. During this time he has represented the Association as a board member in various positions, working hard to promote the sport of diving and in particular the Queensland Diving Association. |

Alan has held, at different times the positions of President, Vice President, Technical Director and has been Competition Director for the past 10 years. |
|
Alan attends all of the Queensland Diving Competitions and works in various roles at these competitions - often taking on two or three roles at one time. |
|
He works hard to ensure all the children and young adults who particpate in these competitions are competing in a competition that is run professionally, to give them the best possible experience. |
|
He is a committed and valuable member of the association and as an acknowledgement of this he has been awarded Life membership of Diving Queensland. |
