Why did I ever believe
That something like this would happen to me?
When I thought I found someone here
To turn around and have her disappear.

When this truth I saw was a deeper lie?

To in turn have mine taken from me and torn apart.
Why did I even think
I could find the one through a single wink?
With my open eyes I watch me bleed
From a wound that one should never need

Wounded by the sights of reality.
