Strikes
remember not to hyperextend the elbow during strikes
White
Front 2 knuckle
Back 2 knuckle
Thrust Punch
Positioning is so important when learning these first three strikes. At the end of the strike, your shoulders should be square, not twisted, and your fist should be extended out at your centerline. You should feel your arm scrape your side as you throw the thrust punch.
Palm (face ribs groin)
Hammer
(face ribs groin)
Downward elbow
Chicken wrist
Keep thumb tucked in for palms. Pay attention to presentation of hammer strikes. Also, watch your non-striking hand when you throw the palm and chicken wrist. Is it at proper elbow position or mimicking the striking hand? Sink into the downward elbow without bouncing, keeping elbow tightly bent.
Orange
Leopard's paw (scrunch first two joints tight, flatten hand, strike with 3rd and 4th digits)

Knife hand side
(straight across keeping hand horizontal)

Knife hand top of neck (striking 45 down through neck)

Roundhouse elbow (striking opponent to the temple or side of neck)

Rearward elbows, high and low (look then strike behind)

Upward elbow (sink then drive elbow up, move face out of the way!)
It takes practice to strengthen Leopard's paw to the point where it is a usable strike.
These knife hand strikes are presented just like hammer strikes (answering the phone) only with open hands.
Elbow strikes: elbows must be tight on impact. The rearward low is simply driving the elbow back vertically into the solar plexus (or groin if you sink with it) and the high is driving the elbow back horizontally into the temple or neck.
Purple
Spear hand (flat hand in perfect allignment with arm. Palm up striking  throat, vertical to abdomen, 45 to groin) Note that groin shot is not to testicals, but to the fold between the leg and abdomen.

Backfist, Driving (from opposite shoulder, angle wrist up so that you hit with knuckles, drive through so that you are about  45 deg.)

Backfist, Snapping (use with limp wrist like whip but fist tight. Recover back to opposite shoulder)
Blue
Tiger Claw (palm strike with fingers open and rigid pointing into target, claw down after strike)

Cross hand knife to abdomen (from opposite shoulder straight out)
Cross hand knife to side of neck (from opposite shoulder, drive through to a 45 deg.)

Bear Paw
(Like leopard but hand slightly more rounded, striking with palm side of hand and front of knuckles in a sweeping motion from telephone position)

Eagle Claw
(thumb and first two fingers act as talons to grab after strike, pull back)

Ridge hand straight
(designed to hit side of eye socket at a slight angle)

Ridge hand swingin
g (arc strike to temple follwing through to 45 deg.)
Green
Driving knife hand (coming from your center point, hand in vertical position and driving out)

Crane's beak (can be straight in to eyes or around to temple or other key targets, keep thumb and first two fingers together and  as straight as possible)

Recant (same as 2 pinion, a front 2 knuckle strike followed by a hammer to the groin with same hand)

Trigger fingers (fist with index bent and thumb locked under first knuckle)

Immortal man (grasp last 2 digits with your thumb across your palm, extending first 2 digits straight out. This may be thrown with wrist bent, but striking fingers should remain flat. This is to the eye or divot in the throat, with the hand positioned like it is holding a gun)

Poison thumb (hand held in J shape, fingers together, thumb out)
Reinforced Poison Thumb (hand in fist, thumb placed like you are trying to hold someone diwn thumb wrestling, only with end of thumb flexed upward from fist)

Raking tiger (tiger hand position, raking across face)
