Learn the blocking system first, then the blocking system with the strikes. Blocks 1 through 4 should pass in front of your body just beneath your eyes. Make sure, especially on 3 and 4, to clear your whole body. 5 and 6 should shoot out, just in front of your head, making sure to cover your whole head with the block. The hammer to the ribs should follow all the way through opponent's body.
