A few years ago, Nelly, was just a normal brotha from St. Louis. Now he's a World Famous star. He's made it to the top releasing song after song. But how did dis guy get started? Well...
Nelly began rapping, as a hobby. Nuttin serious at the time. He grew up on da streets of Euclid and Labadie, surrounded by gangs, drugs, condemned buildings, music and much more of this nasty shit.
In 93 he moved 2 University City and met Kyjuan, another spitter. Kyjuan introduced him 2 City Spud, Murphy Lee, Jason and Ali, now known as the St. Lunatics. The group released "gimme what you got" which sold more then 6,000 copies. Pretty impressive for such a small group.
It wasn't till Nelly went solo that he got somewhere in the rap game. He got signed with Universal Records and released the 'Country Grammar" Album. It featured such songs as "Ride wit me", "Batter Up" (ft. St. Lunatics), & my favourite of em all "Lovin Me".
Nelly's fame didn't stop there. He went on to release Nellyville. One of the most selling albums in the world. Nellyville features the number 1 hit song in the US, "Dilemma" featuring Kelly Rowland off Destinys Child.
He may spit lyrics different from most rappers, but he's got his own style. I dig it. He says, "It's like a Jazz type of Rap". True dat, look out for Nelly to release more phat songz in his career.

Slim Shady, Marshal Mathers, Eminem, call him what you want. But dont be dissin him. Coz dis is one dope rapper. One of da most controversial rapperz since Pac. You may not like him but you gotta like his music. He mite be talkin bout sum white boy shit, but the way he say it, make you feel it.
Fucked up as a kid, stil fucked up now. What goez on in dis guyz head? drugz, bitchaz, murder, fuck who knowz. Some crazy shit 4 sho. He was found by Dre in Los Angeles. Dre was impressed hearing him freestyle. So his career was set.
When I first saw him on da Music Award showz wit Dre singin Forgot Bout Dre. I was like, Woah! Who da fuck? I neva seen or heard of him before and I'm already liken him. Then a year later I think it was. I heard "The Real Slim Shady"
What did i think bout it... I fucken hated it. When he released the Marshal Mathers LP, I was down wit Shady. "Kill You", "Under the Influence", "Stan" n "The way I am" were all good. "Kim" not really rappin but I felt da anger.
Now he's just released his 5th Album I think, with "The Eminem Show". His other Albums ain't nuttin compared 2 dis one. Many madd songz, best of em all "Cleaning out mah Closet". But i dun undastand how sum1 cood diss der mama like dat. He's got ballz.
