Its an album that when i first heard it at a friends i thought wow. All the songs seemed to flow so good the ryhthem was very addictive and bouncy and made for a very enjoyable listening experience. I decided then that a mp3 copy wasnt enough for me and i nedded my own copy of this wonderful cd. I hunted for around 3 months and eventually came across a used copy that was in mint condition and managed to get it for a good price. |

| The Album starts out with that classic 'Family Affair' Track which was also totally in2 pleasures only other ep. The track sets the tone for the rest of the album , Family affair comes in with a great deep bass note playing in the background that also hypnotises me when i listen to it. The lyrics are backed with shante on the vocals which compliments the song great. So far so good. 'Assetts' comes in strong with another deep synth hook that continues throughout the whole album. Assests can be seem as a good example of a g-funk track, its got a great background beat going on with some amazing vocals done by the group including a smooth line from the female backing singers. Assetts also features a kool guitar solo at the end of the track which is different but good that they are experimenting with different instruments. 'Get Down' is another kool track in what is becoming a classic album, 'whos that knocking' is a track which i never really liked at the start but after listening to it for a while it has grown on me although it isnt the strongest track on the album with it being a big more like folk music but the rapping in it is still top class. 'Gangsta Pimp' brings a bit harder beats the the album , this splits it up from the rest of the album as all the tracks before this track have been very smooth , 'Gangsta pimp' although a bit harder in style works good as it infuses alot of good melodys through out the song so that its not too hard gangsta but more true gangsta funk. |

| 'Hey Lady' is one of theses tracks that you can listen to over and over again , it comes with very smooth tight vocals as well as smooth flowing rap and singing , the lyrics and meaning-ful the background instruments have great clarity and depth , this is one of theses songs that you can sit back and just chill too , or to look at it another way its a real mood lifter , if you are a bit down or bored and this song comes on wow you will have jumping its that good. The keyboard and guitar is very prominent in this song as well as the flute , this makes for a really well worked combination. 'Weekend is on' brings some east and west infusion , what can i say i love this track , the rapping again as usual from these guys and girls is brilliant , it flows gracefullly along with the beats. This particular song features a very strong synth in the background which when paired with the chorus of smooth rapping is brilliant. Next we get to the killer track of this album 'Puff'. I will just have to say that whenever this song hits the stereo it never fails to bring a smile to my face , this because its such a damm good song but also because its a take on another song with reworded lyrics to do with our favourite plant :). The song starts with a very heavy bass tone accompanied by a keyboard playing and then the heavy rapping jumps in with a crazy line. The chorus is great along with the actual structure of the song and melodies. I wont go on to much about this song but needless to say its one of my favourites on the album. 'Respect' is a good song howver there isnt much to say about it as it doesnt feature and out of this world beats or differences to other albums. 'Bitchlef misled' is where it starts getting interesting again it starts the song with this incredible guitar and keyboard solo along with some amazing female background focals. This gutitar continues all along the track which is a good thing , the synth comes into play along with other guitar notes as the song progresses and the rapping flows once again. This song has a good story behind it in that song guys can and will give everything to keep a bitch which is sadlly true. The last 2 songs which are 'Faith (The Anthem) ' and 'Personality Analysis' are more gangsta rather than gfunk which unfortunetly doesnt end the album well I award this album 4 G's as its a classic album and the only reason why it doesnt get 5 star is because of the last 2 tracks letting the album down.
