Biography:

Raymond Saar has performed on concert stages and theaters, internationally as well as through the United States. Most recently he concluded a new production of Amacleus Revisited with the Dana Point Symphony. His work as the Prince in The Student Prince earned him a Robby award as best actor in a musical. He toured with Sammy Cahn in his original musical, Words and Music. Mr. Saar played Marius, Enjolras, and Feuilly in Les Miserables in the Broadway and Los Angeles productions and was one of the featured soloists in the international cast album of Les Miserables. He played Lun thau in the National Tour of The Kind and I, starring Yul Brynner. Mr. Saar has been a guest soloist with many Symphony Orchestras including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Orange County Pacific Symphony, Los Angeles Pops Orchestra, and San Juan Capistrano Valley Pops and the Philadelphia Philharmonic Orchestra. Mr Saar worked with peter Marshall in his singing group, Chapter Five, including appearances with such notables as Bob Hope, Bob Newhart, Joan Rivers and a command performance for former President Jimmy Carter.
