Biography:

Michael Piontek has appeared on Broadway in Grand Hotel, The 3-Penny Opera, and Into the Woods. He is a member of the Circle Repertory Company, where he created roles in Reckless, Florida Crackers, and Dalton's Back. Michael toured Japan in The Fantasticks with Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt, and has worked extensively in regional theatres across the country. He is recently married to actress Paige O'Hara.

Current Engagement:

Michael has now taken over the role of the Master of Magic in EFX, which is playing at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Tidbits:

Michael is married to Paige O'Hara, the voice of Belle in "Beauty and the Beast". She is also currently performing in Las vegas, but with the Rockettes. In a recent interview (10/98), O'Hara said that Michael piontek was intending to become a geneticist, but enjoyed the performing arts too much in university that he pursued it as a career.
