Biography:

He has sung in Jesus Christ Superstar and West Side Story at the Concert Hall in Stockholm. In 1989 he played the leading role in Don Juan Freestyle at S�dra Teatern. In the spring 1991 he made his debut as a Wagner tenor, in the role of Sigismund in Die Walk�rie at the Royal Opera House. In 1993 he played Pell�as in Pell�as and M�lisande by Debussy and the year after he originated Doctor Glas in the original production of Doctor Glas by Arne Melln�s at the Royal Opera House. Jan Kyhle also sings at the new operahouse in Gothenburg, among other roles, Erik in The Flying Dutchman by Richard Wagner. Jan has also done a concert tour with Lisa Gustafsson, who plays Kristina in Benny Anderson's and Bj�rn Ulveaus' musical Kristina fr�n Duvem�la, and another concert tour with Inger Olsson Moberg who played Christine opposite him in Phantom.

Tidbits:

Jan played Don Attilio/Passarino in the original Stockholm cast of Phantom. In the early 80's he was a rock musician with two goups - Lustans Lakejer and Reeperbahn.
