Biography:

Gardar was born in Reykjavik, Iceland and studied the Cornet at The Music Conservatory and singing at the Reykjavic School of Singing and later at the Hochschule F�r Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna. He is presently studying with Professor Andre Orlowitz in Copenhagen. Gardar was chosen to represent Iceland in a chamber choir consisting of singers from the Baltics and Scandinavian countries. In 1995 he played the part of Tony in West Side Story at the National Theatre in Reykjavik, Curly in Oklahoma and Don Jose in the Musical Carmen Negra by McLeod and Trotter at the Icelandic Opera in 1998. Gardar is very pleased to be making his West End debut as Raoul.
