Biography:

Simon was born in Cardiff, Wales, and trained at The Mountview Theatre School London. After playing such diverse roles as John Proctor in The Crucible, Mark Antony in Julius Caesar and Tony in West Side Story, he landed his first major role with The London Players Theatre Company, then followed The Narrator in Paddington Bear's Magical Musical Tour, Blondel at The Old Vic and Aldwych Theatre, Eddie in Mack and Mabel at The Aldwych Theatre.

Simon's performance as a Young Elvis in the original cast of the award-winning musical Are You Lonesome Tonight? at The Phoenix Theatre was greeted with great critical acclaim. He then starred as Marius in The Cameron Mackintosh RSC's production of Les Miserables at The Palace theatre, which was followed by the lead role in They're Playing Our Song at The Olympia Theatre Dublin, Kangaroo in the musical Just So, based on the Rudyard Kipling Stories at The Watermill Theatre Newbury. Simon then created the part of Chris in the original production of Miss Saigon, simultaneously featuring in Poetry in Motion at The Richmond Theatre and Aspects of Andrew Lloyd Webber at The Symphony Hall Birmingham.

Simon is a prolific songwriter, and is currently writing a new musical with John Sinclair formerly of Uriah Heep.

- He is a songwriter and has recently completed a new musical written with John Sinclair based on a classic Hollywood film (not yet known which one this is).
