RANTZAU Decendants:
The Rantzau clan split up early, and were known to identify themselves as early as the 14th century as belonging to Hr Schack's or Hr Breide's decendants, though with a common root. A summary is given at All Rantzau branches as a diagram, for those using Excel
At this summary links are given to more detailed diagrams for these branches, with the latest known living or dead decendants. Additions are welcome, as the German Nobility Archive (Deutsches Adelsarchiv) is not planning to update their Rantzau publication of 1973.
An introduction to the diagram is given.
In the mean time, a text equivalent covering only details for the last 5/6 generations of still existing branches is given at;
Also, of course, a link is provided to the Bastard decendants, which started my interest in the first place.
This link gives the illegitimate son (Jens Pedersen Ørsted) and his children, and provides further links to their decendants.
