at Baron's Inn in
We need to get a count of 35 people
total to keep our price per meal down. It will be a buffet
type luncheon same as last year. The price is set to $10.95 per
meal; drinks are extra. So bring your wife, significant other, and
friends and let's get our count up as much as possible to meet our goal of 35
people or more. So mark your calendars in advance and save this special
day at Baron's. There will be a red rose
for every lady.
Our October meeting took place at
The meeting started at 10:30 AM and President
Jim Croisant lead the group in the pledge of allegiance to the flag of our
country.
Gil Aitchison gave the
treasurer's report of $1,467.00. He
has also done some flying.
Attendance was 17 to 18.
Old Business was Baron's
From this time untill Spring, the Ultralight meetings will take place at Baron's
Paul Muhlig's plane
passed inspection now he's making sure the paperwork and plate info is in order.
Tom Lewis and Dave
Donnora has passed inspection as well, their DAR was Ron Jones.
Gerry Olmstead also
passed his inspection.
George Smith has been
flying his Quicksilver at 1000 ft and has been enjoying the Autumn leaves.
John Torta is working
putting the Ultralight pictures on a CD. He bought a new computer and it
is hard to get use to.
Don Goodrich took aerial
pictures for his son Doug.
Lou Palombo Had 2 hours
of Helicopter Instruction at Husky Haven with Kim in a Switzer Hello at
$300.00 per hour. Kim also has a J-3 and a 7AC Champ for LSA rating.
These last two could be used for tail wheel endorsement.
Tom Parkhurst has his
N-numbers for his Kolb and is now proceeding to get it inspected for the
Airworthy Certificate.
Harry Henderson has been
flying his J-3 kitten.
Dan Fiske has a trailer
from Armand Fish Jr. to use to haul his Pegasus; he also is cutting wood for the
winter.
Armand
Fish Jr. hasn’t been flying as he has been busy working
on cars.
Tom Boutheuser has his
Mini Max completely covered. Now it
is ready to paint; light cream and blue with stripping.
Matt Garbett has had his
new Hawk flying at
Jim Croisant is working
on his engine and the CHT gauges. He found 2 wires broken and repaired
them hoping they will take care of the sensing. His aircraft is in
the back of the hanger and in order to get it out will have to move the other
planes out.
Mel Wightman had to help put on a pancake breakfast at the
Masonic Lodge in
The meeting was over by 12 noon everyone had a good meal and a great time being
at the airport.
