Our next meeting will take place at Husky Haven in South Montrose, Pa.  It will be on the 15th, the third Saturday of the month at 12 noon.   Our cook will be Judy Thomas and her husband.  Expect to have a super great meal so be sure and come and bring a friend.

I wasn't present at this last meeting but I hear tell it was a great success great attendance and a great meal.  Our thanks to Gil for taking down the notes and allowing us to meet at his place.  20 people showed up and we gained another member Jim Smith.  We also had one visitor Rich Blohm.

At precisely 1:23 PM the meeting started with the salute to our country's Flag.  Norm Dibble's left arm carried the flag.  Norm's Kolb was for sale for $7,000.00 with the trailer.

The Annual Meeting of Shareholders was held and as of August 18th 2007 the following people were voted in as directors -Gil Aitchison, George Smith, and Paul Muhlig.

The clubs VCR tapes were found by Gil they were at Gil's house located under a pile of other things.

    J. Cowin's Kolb (which was owned by Ken Kilpatrick) has been sold to a friend of Frank Snyder.

Jim Croisant talked about our trip to the Curtis Museum a great time was had by all.  He also talked about the drawing of the helicopter ride to take place next year in June of 2008.  The RC meet at Chenango Bridge was real interesting, two jets F-16 and a Delta Wing flew for 5 minutes the fastest was around 160 mph.

Gary Pressler said, October 7th is a Fly-In or Drive-In Pancake Breakfast in Sidney , New York . This will help the local area.

A discussion on the Holiday Dinner was brought up to be at Baron's Inn we still need to set a date.

Armand Fish Jr. was given a good hand clapping for the dinner he served (sorry I missed it!) He also took a balloon ride at the Spiede Fest.  He enjoyed it very much; he was so low he grabbed the top of a tree.  They were up for 40 minutes.  He is also semi-retired.

Lance Bunker went to Kentucky and picked up another MX Quicksilver.

Dan Fiske is hopefully retired and is helping his family; he feels he made the right decision.

Jim Smith is now our latest member (congratulations Jim) welcome aboard!  He is looking for an instructor to help learn how to fly a trike.  His phone number is 908-852-0479.  Also Jim bought Norm Dibble's aircraft.

Matt Garbett has been working a lot and flying  less, He was successful in buying a Hawk in North Carolina .  As I understood from Gil it has a low time 503 Rotax on it and lots of goodies.

Paul Muhlig put his numbers on his aircraft and is getting more gauges and labeling put on his instrument panel.  His weight and balance is done and is waiting for an inspector to look at his plane.

George Smith has his Quicksilver done but is still working on his Savannah .

Gil Aitchison is still working on his hanger it is 99.99% done.  Been cutting grass, spending time at Sandy Pond boating and flying with Duane.  Gil and Duane landed their crafts at Jim Fitzsimmon's 800 foot strip.  He said, it was real nice.  Taking off North it is clear of trees but still needs more rolling down to smooth out the bumps.   Gil bought a BRS 900 parachute.  The explosives had to be put together.  He figures it weighs in at 25 pounds.

Bob Lindsey is selling his Hyper Light.  If anyone is interested give him a call 724-7025.

Allen Huntley has been flying with Duane and Joe.  He has also been working on his Cessna 150 getting more painting and rigging done.

Lou Palombo Hasn't done anything with flying lately.

Jim Leonard had a chance to show off his new plane, a Hawk which was purchased from Bill Brown.  He is keeping it in Gil's hanger at the present time.

Dave Thomas flew just before a dangerous storm hit and managed to get down safely.

Tom Lewis had his engine overhauled by Mark Smith in Indiana .  The seals were replaced but everything else was in great shape.  Using AV-2 oil proved to be the best thing to do for the life of the engine.  He and his wife witnessed the 182 landing halfway down Husky Haven's runway and flipping over at the end of the runway.  The pilot got out ok and climbed up the hill.  The wrecker did a lot of damage to the tail trying to retrieve the 182.

Dave Donnora and Tom Lewis have their aircraft ready for inspection.

    Your Secretary,
