The next meeting will be on September 20th at Zaverton Airport in South Montrose, Pa.

August Meeting Notes

Ten members attended the meeting at Mel McKinney's.  There were no note-takers attending and not much business was discussed.  I could not make it, but I understand those attending had a good time.  The highlight was the post-meeting acrobatics by Mel McKinney.   One source said he did some loops, hammerheads, snap rolls and ninety-degree turns.  Another source said none of that is true except the ninety-degree turns.

OLD BUSINESS

The Rhinebeck Airport trip was postponed since there were many cancellations.  It will probably be scheduled again.
At last count, I show 36 members who have paid their dues.   There are 25 members who have become inactive since the last roster was prepared.  Some have been carried for some time, others have just failed to renew this year.

Flying

Congratulations to Dave Thomas who has been flying his Afford-a-Plane out of Zaverton.
