The
next meeting will take place at Gil and Liz Aitchison's home at 12 noon on
Saturday, June 20th. This time I plan on being there.
First of all I’d like to thank Paul
Nulton for his generous hospitality for our club. I
didn't get the word on who supplied the food but I can only guess that Paul had
a hand in that too. It seems that almost every time we have a meeting the
weather is ify for
flying. All that work done to prepare the place for a fly -in and the
weather wins again. I see 24 people showed for the meeting and 2 of them
became new members. Congratulations
to George Hayes
and Menzi Gotti.
Welcome aboard! I remember George when he first got his
blue & white Super Cub. He had a fellow by the name of
Nick Bolick fly it home for him. Nick had an
Instructor Rating but was a neophyte with tail wheels and on the way
home it bit him. I remember he had duct tape on the wing tips after the
ground loop. The damage was superficial and George was glad to have her
home still in one piece. George use to work at IBM.
Gil Aitchison gave his
treasures report $1160.52 +113 meals+150
cash.
The Intrepid trip is on.
37 in our group have signed up so far. The club will pay entrance fees for
our members.
The air show at Link Field
will display on 7/4 & 7/5. Volunteers are welcomed. 8 people will be
needed to watch the aircraft on the display.
This year’s prize will
be a choice of a glider ride,
a C-172 flight or a ride with Tom Parkhurst in his Kitfox.

Paul Nulton did some flying with his Nieuport last night. The
weather was beautiful. Paul also proposed the club to pay for an hour of
instruction time for Molly Ross, Jeff Ross's daughter. Also I hope you
guys saw Paul on “You Tube” with his
Parasol. It was pretty neat!
John Sherman is working on his Nieuport.

everyone of a pancake breakfast the following Sunday. Also reminded
everyone that ultralights are permitted to land on weekends only at

his plane. He's still experimenting with hydrogen.
