Our next Ultralight Meeting will take place at Gil and Liz's place in North Fenton on the 21st of April at noon.  Yours truly will be in charge of the food.  I plan on Pizza and wings and a few other things; not sure what that will be yet.  I hope the weather by then will be much better than it is now and certainly no more snow.  So bring a friend and if we can't fly we can at least talk about it.

We had a total of 9 people show at our last meeting it was a cold blustery day but nice and cozy at Baron's Inn .    Three of our wives showed up for their little Tea Party in the corner.  The food and company was good even though it was a small party.

Our President Jim Croisant, called the meeting together around 1:15 PM we then paid our respects to our American Flag and got under way.

The Treasuer's report:  from Gil Aitchison is $1,156.60  and 100.00 dollars in cash.

    Old Business:

       (A)    Club documentation was showing a few pictures of the past.  We are trying to obtain information on the original officers.   Gil and Duane supplied some info of the past and the pictures were passed around for the club members to look at the past; very interesting.

        (B)         The Canyon Club in Wellsboro:   no information from them at this time we are still trying to get in touch for a meeting.

        (C)         Curtiss Museum   was talked about and is in the planning stage.

        (D)        Soaring Museum is on going, we found out a grill is available for our hot dogs and Hamburg 's.  Our President Jim Croisant has a ticket for a glider ride.  This will be nice to watch, as it will be his first glider ride; no engine.  It shall be an experience.

    New Business:

        (A) The Greater Binghamton , Airport will be having their Air Show this year on the 29th & 30th.  They are looking for a few good men to help out with crowd control.   Free tickets and food for your family and a free Tee Shirt to wear at the show.   The only thing you have to provide is a copy of your driver's license.  This is for security purpose only.

A sober note: John Torta's brother had recently passed on, they were very close.   A  sympathy card was sent to his home in Bainbridge.  Our condolences John.

       Round Table info:

Gil Aitchison managed to get in around 12 hours this year so far and is looking forward to get a lot more.  He is presently is working on another hanger and getting a 2 place craft ready to fly - a T-Bird.

John Torta got his 2 Stroke International (2SI) back from the factory.  He had problems with the EGT.   They rebuilt the water pump.  It is still in the crate.  It's a 45 hp. engine for his Micro Mong Bipe.  It turns out I have the same engine, which I purchased from Tom Decker.  John and Gil are talking about making a deal with the gear reduction on Gil's old engine that was in the flood.  If John doesn't want it, I might be interested to buy and add it to mine.  John's Flight Star is ready to fly it still has the Kawasaki Engine on it.

The rest of us have been busy moving snow and are looking forward to good Spring weather to fly or work on our ships.

The meeting was over at around 2:45 PM.
