Our next meeting will take place on March 18th, the third Saturday of the month, at the Baron's Inn at around 11:30 or 12:00 (noon) whichever you prefer. So bring a friend and enjoy the fellowship, listen to the prop wash, there is plenty of it and room enough to add more too.

I was unable to make the last meeting but so far I will be making this one, many thanks to Gil Aitchson for taking the notes and heading up the meeting.  We only had 7 people come to the meeting; it was a very cold day and some black ice was present.

The meeting started around 1:30 PM and one of the questions last month was; is it ok for WOMEN to join the club and the answer is YES there are no restrictions what-so-ever.  We can always use some help in our cook-outs and make our meetings more up-beat.  Also they can help us plan and spend some of that money.

Alan Huntley hasn't done too much in aviation this month other than flying with Duane Ross and Gil Aitchison for 30 minutes.  Alan is waiting for spring, so he can get his 150 painted along with busting up the sod for crops.  Gil and Duane flew in their Hawks one Sunday towards Alan Huntley place and met up with him at Scott's air strip.  They then flew towards Allen's field.  Allen continued on home and Gil and Duane flew to Bob Keech's field to look at a 2 place Zeffer.  Gil and Duane flew 3 hours total time.

Gil said he heard the weatherman say something about snow so he put on his snow skis and now is waiting for something to happen because the big snow didn't come.  It takes about 1 hour to change from wheels to skis and vise versa.

Jim Croisant arrived late at around 1 PM because he had started out on a trip with his family to Washington DC .  He was met with a lousy snow storm, turned tail and came back home after witnessing a car and truck pile-up on RT-81S.   Jim also experienced problems with his water pump; he ended up pulling the pump up twice for trouble shooting the problem.  He also went to check on his Phantom and noticed the hanger doors were being ripped off by the wind and had to find ways to take care of the situation.  I'm sure Chenango Bridge appreciated your gesture even though they frown on us being around with our little birds.

Matt Garbett brought a friend along to the meeting; Donald Hollister who has a C-150 hangered in Chenango Bridge .  He bought the other hanger from the estate of the late Dave Pender which was formerly built by Robert McNeish who now lives in Virginia .  Don runs the True Value Store in Greene , N.Y. We welcome Don and hope that he will decide to join in our group.  Matt bought a 22 year old motorcycle and now has his eye on a couple of different ultralights. One is an older GT-500 2 place and he is also looking at a Skyraider II.  Go for it Matt!

Lou Palumbo hasn't done much towards flying but is going to Baltimore to look at an American Sport Chopper Helo.

Gil Aitchison (our club treasure) said there is now $1,203.60 in the bank.

The meeting was over approximately at 2:30 PM everyone there enjoyed the food and the fellowship.
