Inu-Yasha is the story of a girl named Kagome who can go into the past through her well. The first time she goes through she finds Inu-yasha with an arrow through him, so she helps him. You see what happened was, Inu-Yasha's love Kykyo had betrayed him and shot him, and Kagome looks like her! weird isn't it?
Kagome had the Shikon jewel inside of her which she wasn't aware of. The jewel is said to have great power. Humans and demons fought over it for years and years until Kikyo burned it with her when she died...
The legend of how this jewel came to be was that a preistess fought several demons for many days and finally when she was in the mouth of one of these demons the hatred mixed together made a hole in her chest in which the jewel fell out,
After awhile Inu-Yasha and Kagome fall in love even though neither of them will admit it, but I wont say anymore because I don't want to ruin it for you!!! |
