The Song You Are Listening To "Wind Beneath My Wings" is
Dedicated to My Love, My Greatest Supporter, My Husband - Randy!
I Love You So Much Randy!

Hi I am so glad you wanted to get to know me a little better!
My name is Lori Smith, I live in Missouri with my husband and our six children.
I love selling country collectibles from CPCA and would love to share this opportunity with you.

I love to sketch and was a commercial art major - hoping to finish school when my kiddos
are all in school HA! I love decorating and landscaping. I began selling for Country Peddlers
and Company of America 2 years ago. I had a very "Rocky" start. The day my Country Store
was delivered by UPS to my door, which I had so anxiously awaited, tragedy struck my family.
My wonderful father died at the age of 59. I was, well, a "daddy's little girl" at age 34. I was devastated. Because of this great loss I did not want to go through with my committment to CPCA. Originally, I had planned to stay home with my 4 boys, and CPCA seemed like the perfect opportunity for me to do just that. But, nothing seemed
right or worth doing. My wonderful husband, Randy, reminded me how proud my father would be, and that I had a dream when I first signed up. Now it was time to go for that dream.

I did my first few "Gatherings" - which went wonderfully - I was doing better knowing that my Dad was guiding and supporting me from above. Then one beautiful spring day on the way to a gathering
(2 months to the day that dad died), I was involved in a frightening and very serious car accident that left me with a broken neck, lacerated liver, and well, basically broken all over. I was not expected to make it through the night, let alone ever walk again if I did live.

But, here I am today. God and my father watched over me that day. I can't say I live without pain, but I am ALIVE and I AM walking. God has blessed me so much ever since that accident through this company. I have made so many wonderful new friends and received so much support and guidance. I worked very hard over the next several months and achieved 9th Place Peddler in the Nation for 1999; out of 8,000 peddlers. I was so excited!! Because of my faith in God, my faith in myself, and my family and friends Randy and I were able to go on the Alaskan Cruise offered by CPCA for top sellers and award winners.

I tell my story at each gathering I do. I am thrilled to be part of a company that believes that God comes first, our family second and then our business - which can very successfully be worked around my top two priorities. I am a "walking" example that dreams do come true through CPCA.

My Family is My Greatest Joy and Greatest Support.
I would love to take a minute to introduce them to you.

First, there is my terrific husband, Randy. (Pictured with me above)
He is my best friend, as well as, a great husband and father. Randy is an accomplished musician
and I am his biggest fan! We spend most of our time raising our children, since between us
we have the "Brady Bunch," 6 of them. We also own a restaurant in a small historic town about 30 miles from our home that specializes in smoked pork, but also has a full menu. It's a great business, but takes much of our time. We cherish any time that we manage to get alone.

Our Brood!

Shaun (pictured on left), age 18, Randy's oldest son. Shaun has followed in his father's footsteps and plays guitar so well! He is very good with computers and hopes to have a career in either music or electronics someday. He has a heart as big as Texas and as soon as he figures out his place in life he will do great things! Ashley (pictured on right), age 15, Randy's daughter and our ONLY GIRL!! Ashley is an angel! She is the "compliant" child! I guess being around 5 boys would either make you that way or make you mean. We thank God that she is a sweety! She loves being with her friends and because of that we see her less and less these days; but that is the 15 year old syndrome. She actually likes to skateboard with Zach and since they go to the same school it's kind of neat that they can be step-sister and brother and be friends too! She keeps me updated on the girls Zach hangs with in the halls HA! My inside scoop!!

Zach is my oldest son (Center back). He is 15 and loves to skateboard. He has gotten really good at some of the "tricks" the kids do on those things. He tells me that he also likes to "hang out with friends", and I even think girls are
becoming important these days.

Collin is 12 (left). He loves to read. He plays video games like a pro, and loves
sports. We'll be seeing his name in the sports page for the MISSOURI TIGERS
someday!!

Taylor is 10 (right). He looks so much like my father. He is my little comedian. He loves animals and collecting Pokemon' cards which is quite the rage among children in this area. He is also a big beanie baby fan. I love looking at him and thinking that a part of my dad is so much alive and unbelievably like him.

Keaton is my baby (little guy front and center), but he would never admit it. This is the child that Randy and I share. (His, Mine and Ours). He is so incredibly smart. If I have trouble using my computer I can always count on Keaton to help me out. He loves Blues Clues and playing computer games. At the ripe old age of 5 he can read and write just about anything. He amazes me daily with how bright he is, but there is still so much little boy in him that needs those hugs and kisses from mommy, daddy and of course his favorite person in the world, Grandpa!!! (Randy's father).

Well, I guess that's it!
