Welcome to my CORBA page.
I started using TAO for my CORBA projects in March 2000. TAO is an excellent product. But as a newcomer I had to understand lot of gotcha's. They are documented but pretty scattered.
I like prototyping and writing small applications to understand the concepts first. It was tough in the beginning to find answers to some simple questions. The TAO users mailing list helped me a lot. But again going through all the posts became sometimes time consuming.
I started documenting each step I had to go through for setting up TAO on Windows NT. My attemp to document is in progress. Meanwhile you could have a look at by clicking the link below.
