Well here is the cover letter to my C.V.

At my last posting, I found my self in the middle of the Iraqi Out of County Election Campaign in Damascus, Syria. This was the experience of a life time. It was the most intense and enriching two months of my entire work history. Not only did I get the chance to work with some of the world best Election experts, I displayed my own Canadian work ethics and expertise.

Prior to this I directed several projects that aim to educate both government and the public on issues of governance, development, and international relations. Although I truly enjoyed my work at NCCAR, my time spent in the Middle East working with a varied list of NGOs and governmental institutions taught me that my capacity can be used to its fullest potential there. I learned I can make a significant contribution in terms of knowledge and skills to these agencies; and I get a better sense of fulfillment by contributing to my country and its citizens.

My professional work experience at the Canadian and Lebanese Parliaments, and with NGOs such as the UNDP and the National Council on Canadian Arab Relations, has taught me to set key priorities and to take initiative in ensuring the highest quality in all my undertakings.  My continuous experience in professional work environments has increased my ability and confidence in providing sound and strategic advice to my employer and other staff members on complex and sometimes highly sensitive issues.   It has also offered me direct interaction with academics, politicians, non-governmental agents, business leaders, and the media.  I have developed the skills required to inform these groups of current national and international events, acquiring and communicating relevant information, and providing them with firm and reliable support.

My time at University and my work on a wide range of portfolios has added extensive experience in research and analysis to my list of skills.  This has, in turn, enabled me to develop effective and time-efficient methods for acquiring the necessary and reliable information on virtually any topic.  I am currently in charge of a wide range of governmental and non-governmental, national and international projects, and am always seeking to expand my scope of knowledge.   I have extensive experience in writing articles and speeches, as well as publishing and editing newsletters. I am also very comfortable in developing and maintaining internet websites, and exceptionally computer literate.
