Becoming in tune with her Native American roots, Steph discovered that she was a Raven Totem and possessed powers she is to utilize in the Good fight. Realizing that Evil was all around her and activelly trying to take over her home town, Steph has stepped up to the proverbial plate and become a full fledged Hero.
After a slow courtship, Steph eventually became romantically involved with her Detective trainer, Nick Devry, only to loose him when he became aware of the supernatural that was so much a part of Steph's life and, deciding he couldn't handle it, moved back to L.A.
She also lost her closest friend and her Totem mentor that same night. When a group of evil mages attempted to resurrect a demon using Nick as a vessel to hold the creatures spirit. Her mentor, Jim, attempted to sacrifice himself to stop the creature. Unfortunantly, he was shot and killed at the last moment. Her friend, Astrid, realized what Jim was doing and finished what he had started. Stopping the demon and saving Nick and possibly humanity itself.
Steph has recently made Detective. She splits her time between her work duties and her destiny. Knowing that she fights for a greater good.
