2000 Ginger Fitzgerald is bitten by a werewolf. Eventually she is killed by her sister Brigitte, but not before Brigitte is also infected. Bridget runs away after realizing that she is being stalked by a male werewolf that wants her for it�s mate. She tries to cure herself using a serum based on monkshood - a derivative of wolves bane - but is instead placed in an asylum when social workers believe that she is a danger to herself. The male werewolf attacks several patients and staff, but Bridgett is able to escape and kill the creature with the help of another patient called Ghost. However, Ghost is revealed to be dangerously insane when she tries to capture Bridget who has finally succumbed to lycanthropy
