Egg Shen heads to Tibet to protect The Golden Child, but is too late to prevent a kidnapping by Evil sorcerer Sardo Numspa. Numspa believes that by killing the Child he will be given great power and be able to rule the Earth. Egg Shen interprets the prophesies and sends Priestess Kee Nang to Los Angeles to find child care worker Chandler Jerral, prophesized to be the Chosen Protector of the child. Eventually Chandler is able to defeat Numspa and along with Kee Nang (with some help from Uncle Egg) begin raising the Golden Child
