On the first day of classes at M.T.S.U. for Astrid and Josh, Josh met his new dorm mate, Todd. Seeming at first to be a typical college jock, he got along with Josh pretty well. . .until he attempted to eat him. A quick warning from a passing student, Astrid - who was able to detect that he wasn't human - gave Josh the chance to injure Todd. Having not expected a fight, Todd ran, but was hit by a police car driven by Steph. Getting a good look at Todd, she was able to determine that he wasn't human. Taking a couple of shots at his fleeing form, Steph, Astrid, Josh and another bystanding student, Leroy, came to know each other.
Todd's demonic form was only glimpsed, but is larger than human. Apparently, he is able to hold his body in a way that he can wear a human looking disguise - a disguise that dissolves into a goo if shed.
Stronger and tougher than human, Todd was somewhat resistant to bullet wounds.
