| This is the first of sooo many action adventures to come on this new greatness of a website representing saddle ridge...this episode was freakin awesome!!! it involved a keen wit (to create plans), danger (stealing things- a saddle ridge past time), and brute strength (...self explanatory?...)..SO, here's the scenario - upon driving john to get his van from a big house, me and kyle decided on the way home to spice things up a bit..this meaning drive down a road that has just been constructed = NOT PAVED NOT PLOWED...this road was so much fun...my car and the van furiously battled the icy/snowy road (or what we thought was a road) and ended up back at my (mike) house getting a clark bar..mmmm a clark bar heh...so anyways, after realizing how freakin amazing that road was, we all thought we'd enjoy it toghether in the van...after driving down the lawn of gayhead elementary, we took on the awesome road again...this time with brilliant speed (two footed?)..we were barreling down the road like crazed crazy people..dammit...and then...we saw it...i just yelled stop..and we all approached it...the object we approached was unknown to man...well not really...but it was cool...it was a HUGE contraption that holds large proportions of wire...so just think of it this way...you know that spool of thread that rose rotunno knits with? well this object was that spool times 1 million..it was one gigantic spool...so, before anything we needed to name it...tough decision...but wait...the name was on there!!! it's name is hendrix (like the guitarist and hendrix hockey..darnit charlie)...we sat there in unchartered road outside of saddle ridge pondering what to do with this thing...hmmmm..hmmm..ohh yea, it took about 2 seconds for all of us to decide to steal it..heh...but how you say? its to freakin big to fit all the way in the van...shit! but it did fit half way, barely..so to drive it back to the ridge, kyle had the burden of hanging out the back of the van and holding on to our new mega spool hendrix - random quote - "i feel like im flyingggg" - kyle while hanging out of the van holding hendrix = hahahahaha drugs..anyways, upon getting my car back we decided, or kyle decided to let hendrix free down a big hilly road...it was awesome...and a taste of yet to come...the velocity of hendrix was amazing..he barrelled down the road with sheer power and then crashed into a snow bank.. so now, the daunting trip back to SR..we made it safely into the safe zone of the laRose driveway...then the thinking process came to play...we must utilize this stolen property some how...after thinking for nearly 10 minutes, we decided to roll it down the church's hill next to daves house..and onto the main road 376 (dangggger)..we made a gatorade/camera (pictures pending) to cumberland where we scared a portly lady and came back to saddle ridge...so we were ready for action...clark bars were eaten, and we were set to fuck shit up..hendrix was driven over to the church and we came back an walked to him (in case of police, scattering in the woods would be easier then an OJ simpson highway chase)..so with camera in hand we ran through the hansens yard and found hendrix by the church...after we all pissed on trees (sorry god) we were ready to rock and roll - literally..i ran down the hill with the camera to get a fly by shot and kyle and john lined up hendrix on the church's drive way road (a mega hill which would give the wheels some nice acceleration..heh..hell yes)..when nicely lined up, hendrix was set..it was time for hendrix to fly down the road stumbling drunk sledders once did..the defining moment of this stealing night had come...he was let go...and only the incessant rolling was heard...i peared through the camera as it careened down the road...it was dark so i couldnt see, but all of the sudden it got very loud with the rolling...shitttttt..i finally saw hendrix out of the crumby over priced camera coming right for me ..yipe ...YIPPPPPPE...it just missed me...it drilled the tree i was hiding behind..got good pics....that was cool and all, but we wanted to see hendrix shine and breakthrough and hit 376 (or a car on 376 heh)...so after some brilliant lining up by kyle and john, it began again...hendrix was let go and it zoomed past me with a hell of a force...definitely in line with 376...and on it went...accross the road and SMASH...right into the guard rail..two times hendrix rung off the guard rail...thats how much force was on this run...me and kyle, in shock and excited just stood, john, the quick witted took off running and salvaged hendrix b4 a car came...he rolled it back accross to the bottom of the church's hill...and we were done for the night..we ran back to saddle ridge to get the car and ultimately hendrix (with the use of quickness by me and john to load it back into the van without any cars seeing)..and out night of mischief had ended..hendrix's legendary 376 roll was amazing..we couldve gotten caught so easily..no worries though...it was freakin awesome...this episode will be continued bc hendrix remains in saddle ridge custody and we still have yet to utilize the many things we can do with it..to be continued.... |
