Membership

Membership to this league is a privilege and is by invitation only

Fees

Fees for membership will be determined by the commissioner

Team and Roster

Team roster will be 14 (a defense and/or special-team takes up 1 roster spot)

Draft Method - 2 Phase

The draft consist of 2 phases, the auction and the straight draft
This is designed to avoid unfair advantage to "luck of the draw" situations

Draft Phase 1 - Auction

Each team owner starts with a salary cap of $100 (fictitious dollars) All owners will pull a number out of a hat, this number will be used to determine their turn to declare a player for auction.

  • The auction starts when the owner who has been predetermined to go first, names a player and declares an opening bid for said player
  • A bid must be at least $1, and must be in increments of $1 (50 cents and 25 cents bids etc. are not allowed)
  • An owner must have enough money to make the minimum bid, $1 for all 6 rounds, therefore the max bid for a player is $95
  • Once an owner passes on a bid, he is out of the auction for that particular player
  • The auction for a particular player ends when all but 1 owner still bidding passes, the remaining owner then right to draft that player, and his bid amount gets subtracted from his salary cap pool.
  • Then owner predetermined to go next can declare his bid on a player of his choosing
  • Each owner can only draft 6 players in the auctin round, at anytime during the auction round when an owner reaches 6 players drafted, the owner is no longer allowed to bid.
  • This auction round ends when all teams have 6 players

  • Draft Phase 2 - Pick Order

The Straight Draft occurs after the auction rounds

  • The owner with the most cash left after the auction round gets to go first, and the owner with the second most cash goes next and so forth.
  • In case of a tie in remaining cash, the order will be determined by the auction order in the auction round
  • After the last person has drafted, then the next round proceeds in reverse order.
    Ex. 1st round order 1, 2, 3 . 7, 8, 9, 10. 2nd round order 10, 9, 8, 7 . 3, 2, 1
  • The owner simply names the player his would like to draft and will receive said player
  • The drafting will continue to 8 rounds (total of 14 players on each team).
