ASTRO FORECAST for JUNE 2001.
At the beginning of the month Sun will still be in the orb of Saturn and may continue to keep up the friction between authority and subjects till the 3rd or 4th.
This month will witness an important transit of Jupiter from Taurus to Gemini on the 10th .The effect of this transit will be felt in the coming months on mundane affairs for a year. George Bush's transit chart ( as per a published horoscope in magazine prior to his election) currently features adverse Saturn in 9 from the natal moon .After the 10th of June the chart will additionally have Jupiter adversely placed in the 10th from the natal moon. This forebodes a 12 month period of exceptional difficulty for Bush in matters concerning his profession that is the Presidency. The effect of negative karma indulged in during the US election may rear up from this month and as the period progresses may cause a state of acute mental anxiety leading to sleepless nights for the President. Signs of things to come are already evident in the defection of Senator Jim Jeffords that is viewed as a political earthquake. Conversely the transit position of Gore will attain strength and if there is a plan in his mind the ensuing period will be favorable for execution. Mars retrogression carries the planet back into Scorpio on 15th June. We should expect the first part of the month to pose similar threats on mundane affairs as in May. The Israel-Palestinian picture may get worse with increasing aggressiveness exhibited by Israel. The second half may cause accidents, and mishaps of a serious nature in watery areas, and in Naval circles. Volcanic activity may be triggered .Water borne diseases may surface.
Sun enters a stellar point in the zodiac that is earmarked for the lord of eclipses on the 20th June and also enters the arc of the current ecliptic point. A total solar eclipse late on the 21st thru 22nd and a conjunction with the ecliptic point on the 27th /28th is featured. That period is ripe for a crisis in political spheres, scandals, scams, fall of officialdom from grace etc. These features may impact particularly in certain countries like India and Israel.USA may this month face difficulty in matters concerning governance and public health.

forecast: Planetary disposition is not very harmful for market activity in the first half of the month except on the 10th .The second half of the month is characterized by the Sun-Saturn conjunction. The approaching conjunction may begin to impact markets adversely from the 16th getting stronger till and on the 25th when the conjunction is perfect. The markets may continue to be affected till the end of the month.

Aerial adversity during the month was serious but as much as we expected. We will continue to watch the skies in June as long as Mars retrogrades and concludes the opposition to the eclipsing point in Gemini.
