WHAT TO BRING

We highly recommend packing as light as possible. If you are like us ,you will find you don't need half as much as you think you do and it makes it much easier for traveling as our travel companions showed us. No formal wear is necessary. Everyone at the resort wore what was termed as " casually elegant" i.e. light dresses, sundresses, pantsuits, slacks & jackets for evening wear. Shorts, swimsuits, swimsuit coverups for day wear. Also COMFORTABLE shoes. You will probably be doing lots of walking around the resort as well as day trips.  The resort has golf, tennis and a gym so bring attire for that as well if you are into that sort of thing. We also chose to bring medicines, bandaids, etc. just in case. They offer you at Sandals an amenity package that contains shampoo, conditioner, lotion and aloe so you will not need those things but do bring some VERY GOOD SUNSCREEN. You will tan/burn quickly down there
( why else would they offer aloe in the kit!). Bug spray is also a must as there are mosquitos and sand fleas....especially troublesome in the evenings. If you should forget anything, they do have a gift shop on the resort and a nurse is available as well.
