I am currently employed by the State College Area School District. Certification area is Technology Education/Industrial Arts Education.
Started teaching at State College in 1977 at what was called the Westerly Parkway Junior High School. This school has gone through several name changes since 1977. It currently is called High School, South Campus. The current high school houses about 2,500 students with half, Grades 9 and 10 housed in the south building and the other half in the north building grades 11 and 12. Students cross the highway, Westerly Parkway, during class changes with a crossing guard. All Technology Education classes are housed in the South Building.
Technology Education in State College goes from grades 6-12 and is broken down into three major theme areas: Manufacturing and Construction, Visual Communications and Power, Energy and Transportation Technology. The high school web sit is located at http://www.scasd.k12.pa.us/techedhs/
I am the department Coordinator for Technology Education. I teach all aspects, Electronics, Wood Working, Computer Graphics, and CAD.

Prior to coming to State College, I taught in York City School District (PA) Teaching Graphic Arts, Drafting, Electronics, Ceramic's and Leather working in a middle school program.
Currently looking for a job in the eastern side of PA that can use my skills as my hobbies lead me about twice a month to the eastern side of our state.
