Terry and Robin's son, Michael, joined the Club in 1984/85.  Being their second favourite child they didn't bother attending the Baths until the following season when their daughter, Rachel, joined.

They answered a heart felt plea from a Peter Carney mail out in 1986/87 to take up timekeeping duties and officated at their first Club Carnival that season.  They joined the Club the following season and despite frequent visits to the UK have been members ever since.

Robin has been co-editor of the Club's newsletter since 1996/97.  Along with Hazel Brombey, she has provided a valuable role in the documentation of the Club's social activities.  Her photographic recording of Club events is also much appreciated and is enjoyed by Club members at the supper following the AGM and Presentations.

As a dynamic timekeeping duo their abilities are best utilised when they are separated into different timekeeping teams - with Robin on Hazel's social team and Terry on Peter Court's business team.  They have timekept down at Wylie's and at most Carnivals and Swimathons for the past 20 years.  They studied their chosen discipline carefully and after a rigorous examination in 2001, they were recognised by Swimming NSW as Official Timekeepers.

Terry and Robin Parkinson have provided over 20 years of valuable service to the Randwick & Coogee Amateur Swimming Club and in 2008 they were both awarded life membership of the Club.
