| Peter Court first recalls swimming with the Club in 1944, age 7, and continued swimming with the Club until the 1950s. He rejoined the Club in 1965 when his four children - Joanne, Andrew, Sean and Elizabeth - were members of the Club. His grandson, Alex, became a member in 1994/95. Peter's grandfather, Hugh Macreadie was a former President of the Club, his father, George Court, and four of his uncles also swam witth the Club. Peter has served on the Committee since the late 1960s and was a Vice President for 20 odd years before taking over as Club President from Maurie Daly in 2008/09. Peter advised the Club about the benefits of incorporation in 1988 and was made a Life Member in 1995. Peter timekeeps every Saturday morning for the Club and is the Chief Timekeeper at the Club's Annual Carnival. He received his NSW Swimming Association Timekeeping Qualifications in 2002. |
