She was made a life member in 1995, and is a regular timekeeper on Saturday mornings.
The committee is hoping to see her swim in races in the coming season, as she has been having lessons with Keith Little, and her swimming has improved greatly.
Hazel (together with Robin Parkinson) produces the Club's newsletter, the Golden Gulls Gazette.
In February 2002, Hazel swam and completed her inaugural Swimathon. Read about it here. She has now completed the Swimathon 4 times.
Hazel won the prestigeous Maurie Daly Trophy in 2004-05
