FACILITY
The farm boasts approximately 75 lush acres, spacious 10x10 stalls, a 10X20 foaling stall as well as an injury stall with adjoining small paddock. For those who compete year round, we have a hot and cold water wash stall. We also have a large riding arena with lights, and jumps. Not to mention the miles of trails on our property and those on surrounding farms to which we have access. We are planning on updating the novice/ baby novice cross country course in the spring, as well as installing a dressage area.
PASTURES
We have 5 pastures and three paddocks, most of wich have automatic watering devices so fresh water is always available. Our fencing is made up of a combination of board fencing and well maintained livestock wire, wich is "hot". All pastures have either large matured trees or run in sheds for shade and shelter. The mares and geldings are turned out seperatly for full and partial boarders. We try very hard to make sure all the horses are getting along well and will move aggressive horses around until the right herd is found to keep the horses happy. Therefore, private turnout is available, but at an extra cost.
CARE
Full and partial boarders are fed twice daily. We feed quality 12% pellets and bermuda/costal hay when the horses are in their stalls. When needed we purchase round bales for the pastures during the winter months. Stalls are cleaned once daily, with fresh shavings added as needed. We keep all the horses on a closely followed worming and vaccination program to make sure they are healthy and up to date.
We currently are offering 3 different types of boarding to meet you and your horse's needs.
