Alrefaey mosque
zakhart almoulk,gafar,cario gavemer built it in 1122a.d,and it had many updates by years. in 1880,it was locked,then died in 1885a.d,and this lasted for aquarter of acentury.
then in 1906,when Hussein basha,put its new design which was the best of all mosques in his times.at the end of 1912, the work finished and it was opend for praying.
this mosque
was called Alrefaey although alrefaey wasn't buried in it,neither in whole egypt.
but this calling lasted because of being as cribed to shiekh ali abo shebak, adesendent of alrefaey and one of the famous,who was buried in it
