About Elizabeth

Hi. My name is Elizabeth on the left you see a picture of me, taken on November 6th, 2001 in my computer class. I'm 16 years old, and up until August 6th I lived in Indianapolis, Indiana in the Midwest USA. On August 6th, I got on a plane in Chicago and flew to Frankfurt. Then from there to Ýstanbul. Then from there to my new home: Ýzmir, Türkiye. I live here with a host family, the Þenkal family, and I go to school at American Collegiate Institute. I'm a Lise 2 at ACI, and if I were back at my old high school I'd be a junior. I love to travel, read, write, and play and compose music. I've been living here for 3 months, and this has been the most incredible experience I've ever had. Rotarians who might be reading this site, you have my undying gratitude for everything you do for the RYE program. Anyway, that's about it!
