This is my first attempt at creating a portable system out of a console. The idea was inspired by Benjamin Heckendorn and his book (www.benheck.com). After picking up the book and looking over the forums on the website, I decided that despite the fact that many people had problems with Nintendo 64 boards that it was the way to go. I bought a used 5" PSone screen, a used N64/controller, a 7.2V RC battery along with other parts from RadioShack, and a couple of sheets of styrene then went to work on it.
After taking everything apart and rewiring a couple of things, I had an N64 and PSone screen running off of batteries:

The front and backside of the front panel of the case.

So far so good...

After I finished glueing everything together, I gave the case a coat of nice and shiny paint (chrome spray paint), assembled, and took it for a spin.
