About Random Studios

My interest in vidding began around May 2004. I was taking a course in Flash, when I accidentily came across a music video at Beyond Evolution. It was Impact of Rage, by Elizabeth Braddock-Grey of Alternate Evolution. It all went downhill from there as I discovered this new phenomenon of fan-created music videos. It was like when I discovered fanfiction! I found other X-Men: Evolution videos, then movie ones. And then I discovered the Hoodat Lair, home of many wonderful Stargate SG-1 music videos, Contra Veritas and its collection of Draco/Hermione videos, and, of course, the wonderful Anime Music Videos.org.
It seemed like a natural progression that I become a vidder myself. There were just two small problems: lack of computer capable of making videos, and clips from which to make said videos. That all changed the Christmas of 2004. I had already received the box set of Harry Potter for my birthday (which happened to be the same day as my eighteenth birthday, and the day of my school prizegiving - I did a Tom Riddle and received an award for services to the school!), and for Christmas I was given my very own laptop - years more advanced than any other computer in the house! (We got our computer right when Windows 95 came out - do the math!). My very first video was Until The Day I Die, and from there I have made many more. Some videos are easier to make than others. My Reason is You was made in an hour while I was trying to get rid of the vidders block that was plaguing two other (and still incomplete) videos.
But still I make videos. I was extremely proud when I made Who I Am, as it was my first (and, as of now, only) non-Draco/Hermione video. I do have other Harry Potter videos planned - I am currently working on a Harry one right now, called Anything but Ordinary, and when I get my hands on a DVD of Order of the Phoenix, I will be making, of course, a Sirius Black tribute video, called Your Love Endures Forever.
I think that's enough for now. The small font is probably hurting your eyes.
