This concert was awesome -- indeed I am inspired by incredible artists -- Jack Johnson is one of the many. I found it a lot more comfy in the Blaisdell instead of at Kualoa Ranch, although it'd have been a beautiful place to be groovin` on a Saturday afternoon! Estupido weather forcasters. Me, Jaymi, and Tye ended up going without Noey because she couldn't find a flight from Maui to here. That sucked big time; a bummer x a million. She's probably crying still... poor Noey. We planned it a while back, and she's a typical 'obsessed fanatic' for Jack Johnson. I'm a sucker for his lyrics myself -- he gets pretty deep about practical things. We stood against the barrier right in front of the stage, so we had a clear decent view of all the bands that played; glad I've got 20/20 vision and a zoom in camera. Not to mention the D!ck-wad who kept coming up to me, telling me to put away my camera. WTB?.. I've got Jaymi on the left side of me using her professional camera, and another girl on the right side recording the entire concert with her camera. Yea, so What The Beef!? I told him it was a digital. He didn't believe me. Talk about my old-school-floppy-disc-digi-camera that looks like some hi-tech thing that can capture video footage -- mm, I don't think so. Perty durn jacked up for him to tell me that I can't take pictures. Should have spit in his face cos he smelled fashionably gross too-- and he definitely was a mean officer. So this was all the sniper shots I took; enough for me to be satisfied at the end of the night. I also met Shantelle, my cousin's ex-girlfriend who flew in from Maui, but she didn't end up hanging around with us because her friend didn't have a wristband for ground access. So that was a bummer for me... but I never do ever feel like a third wheel -- because I love Jaymi and Tye and we're THEE posse if you nasty. |
