CHARACTERS?

Imogen Shawcross

Imogen is the same age as "The Marauders" and torments Sirius and James as the second 5th-year prefect in Gryffindor House. (Remus, of course, being the other) She is also the Keeper and Captain for Gryffindor's Quidditch team, holding the school's record for most Quidditch related injuries. She isn't, however, as strong and self-assured as she seems. Her best friend is a Ravenclaw prefect, also in her 5th year, named Em Meliflua. Em is Sirius Black's cousin, and Remus Lupin's girlfriend. Since this puts Imogen in constant contact with the Marauders, she is annoyed and embarassed when she finds herself falling for the arrogant troublemaker, Sirius Black.

Naru

In Kingdom Hearts it is alluded to that the last crisis involving the Keyblade was about 200 years previous. (Granted, there's at least one more sequel to the game to be released, but I'm ignoring it for now since we barely know anything about its story at this point.) Naru was one of the Key Bearers 200 years ago - that's right, "one of." The other Key Bearer was her friend Suke. It is his treachery that nearly destroys her and seals them both within Kingdom Hearts. It is there that another Key Bearer unwittingly stumbles across the prison that has encased her in for two centuries.

Same

Who are the Blade Children? Who are the Hunters? These are two big questions in Spiral. But now the Blade Children and the Hunters have their own questions. For starters, who is the mysterious figure in dark green who continues to assassinate any Hunter that attempts an attack on the Blade Children?

Same is actually a Hunter herself, or at least, she was raised to be one.... Her father is one of the top figures amongst the Hunters, and because of the extensive training he has forced upon her, Same is actually the very best of their number. However, now she has chosen to follow her own path and protect the Blade Children.

Nuruki

In the world of Saiyuki there are two "taboos" that you hear a lot about. The first: Half-breeds, a children born of the union between man and youkai (demon). They are said to have crimson hair and eyes.

The second: the forbidden magics and sciences. We never get too many details on what exactly is forbidden in this case.... Horray for loopholes like this! Nuruki was born a human, but when she was 15 her family was attacked by youkai and nearly everyone was killed. Nuruki and her father were both barely alive when they were found by her grandfather. Unbeknownst to his family, the grandfather had been conducting a meriad of experiments involving the taboo sciences and magics, and used his knowledge in an attempt to save his son and granddaughter. Nuruki's body was dying and beyond help, so her grandfather took her still living soul and implanted it into one of the bodies on which he had been experimenting. So she awakens to find herself in a body created from two different youkai. Her father does not survive a similar soul transplant. Naturally, a human soul and a youkai body are not meant to be mixed...so Nuruki's new life is hardly easy - especially not once she crosses paths with the Sanzo party....
