At Randheim, Al and Joanna Rand have produced 9 specialty Champions and 2 ROM bitches. We have had 32 years experience and only breed 1 litter a year. We are active in many clubs and have co-chaired two National Specialties. Al's job took us to Mexico City during 1975-77 where we became active in organizing the GSDC of Mexico and worked many months putting together a temperament test for that country. No dog can become a Mexican Champion without passing the temperament test, which we were very proud to be a part of. We are strong advocates of sound minds as well as sound bodies. At the present time, Joanna is now an AKC German Shepherd judge and we have scaled back on owning and producing a lot of shepherds. We presently own and live with Ch. Randheim's Skye Lite OFA and Utopia's Gambler of Randheim. Ch. Skye has a litter out of Grand Victor Ch. Mar Havens Color Guard. We have retired as of December and now live in the wonderful coastal town of Coos Bay, Oregon.
