She died when I was two, her funeral is my first memory. My mom's dad died in 1991
from a car accident. Summer of 1996 my dad's oldest brother David died from a
sudden heart attack. We flew to Delware for the funeral. A few years later David's wife
Pat was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer and died six weeks later.
Friends: June of 1999 Natalie's oma Margot died from pancreatic cancer. I didn't find out
until later because I was in Germany at the time and couldn't attend the funeral. In 1989
my first grade teacher, Mrs Holms, died the summer after I had her. Sister Elizabeth
Anne died in 1993, God rest her soul. Jane Domek, my high school counselor, died in
the beginning of 2001. Paul Wellstone died in a plane crash in October of 2002. Father
Balty died April of 2007, the best man in the world who happened to be my great-uncle.

...And then there the people I've lost for other reasons than death...many of whom I'd really rather not remember but I must at least credit them with something, because even the bad experiences have made me who I am today. However, they are not worth the time and energy to list here. Most of them probably don't even know who they are, but they exsist nonetheless. Some are more gone then others, and some are remembered more than others-I'll just leave it at that.
