Welcome
To
R & C Ranch
Kalama, Washington

To
R&C Ranch is a small acreage farm specializing in rare and heritage fiber animals.  We currently have a small flock of Registered American Romeldale/CVM sheep which is our main business. For color and variety, we also have NCWGA Registered Moorit brown fine fleece sheep, two llama, and pygora goats with differing fleece types.

The Sheep are kept coated as much as possible to keep debris out and the fleece clean and thus more appealing to handspinners and ease of processing.

The Pygora goats have type A fleece which is like Mohair, type B fleece which is finer and has type A and type C properties.  Type C fleeces are cashmere like. They are shorn twice a year.
My goats came from Lisa Roskopf at Hawks Mountain Ranch in Gaston, OR

We also have a warren of angora rabbits for their soft, fine, and warm wool to blend with the sheep, llama, and pygora fibers.  Please visit
Cindy's Treasures for more information.
One of our many projects for this year was to close off the barn so we can move our warren of rabbits inside, thus having a more centralized area to keep animals and save time.

We plan to breed 8 ewes this fall and will expect to double our flock.  There will be a few very nice lambs for sale in the spring of both purebred Romeldale and NCWGA fine wooled sheep. We also plan on selling two older and very nice moorit ewes in the spring when the lambs are weaned.
Stefan and Brandon plan to breed our Pygora does for spring kids and next years 4H project. More information will come if there are kids available for sale.
