The Bugbee Family

Timothy Bugbee, born abt 1570 in England, and died est,1598-1661.
He had the following children;

1. Richard Bugbee,born 1590-1616; died 1635.Married Judith ?,1616-1633
2. Edward Bugbee
   

Edward Bugbee was born 1594, died 27 Jan 1669.He married Rebecca ??, about
1619 in England. Rebecca was born around 1600.
Historical: His farm was where Mt. Hood Cemetary is now. He came to America from Ipswich, England on ship "Francis" in 1634 at age 40, with wife Rebecca ??, age 32, and daughter Sarah, age 4. They left
Ipswich at the end of April, 1634. Joined Roxbury church 1665. Reference: Brown, 1935.

2. Sarah Bugbee, born 1630 in England, died About 1648-1724.
3. Joseph Bugbee, born 6 Jun 1640 in Roxbury, MA., died 26 July, 1729 in Woodstock, CT.
4. A son Bugbee, born August 6,1642, Roxbury, Ma; died September 1642, Roxbury,Ma.

John Bugbee (1st) died 16 Jan 1704. He married Joanna ??. Joanna died 11 Jul 1690.
Historical: John came to America in 1630 with his Uncle Richard who died prior to 1635. He 
was a member of the first Church of Roxbury and went to Woodstock in 1687 with his brother 
Joseph.

They had the following children;

1. Mary Bugbee, b. est 1664-1690, Roxbury,Ma; died est 1715-1782; married
   Philip Rice, October 4,1710

2. John Bugbee, born 1655 and died 5 Oct 1744
3. Thomas Bugbee, born abt April 1668, Roxbury,Ma.; died est 1710-1759.
4. Joanna Bugbee, b. abt 1680 in Roxbury,Ma.-d. est 1722-1775;married
   Joseph Goddard, February 19,1717-18

John Bugbee,Jr.was born 1655 in Roxbury,Ma. He died 5 Oct 1744 and was buried in
     Woodstock, CT. John married Abigail ?? on July 10,1696. Abigail was born 1663. She
     died 14 Apr 1744.

2. Benjamin Bugbee, born September 3, 1699 in Woodstock, CT; Died est 1756-91

5. Mary Bugbee , born 4/20/1710 in Woodstock, CT; Died est. 1737-1804,married John Goodell on May 25,1731
   

   Benjamin Bugbee born September3,1699,Woodstock, Ct; died est. 1756-1791.
       He married Nov.6,1724, Elizabeth Earl of Pomfret 1702- 9 Mar 1744.

       He married after 1744 to Abigail Hodge, daughter of Henry Hodge, widow of Joseph 
       Durkee.

5. Elijah Bugbee

Elijah Bugbee, married Sarah Bacon, born Feb 20, 1754 in Pomfret, Conn.  

They had the following children;

1. Abigail "Nabby" Bugbee, born April 26,1780, died November 12,1853; married 
   John Waight Randall,born October 23,1766, died 1806.

They had the following children;

1. John Elisha Randall, married Nancy Clemons
2. Sarah Abigail Randall, married Edward Diver
